As a Buyer & Sub Project Leader You will manage the supply base for an assigned commodity for Purchasing & Supplier Management (P&SM), based in Eskilstuna and also representing P&SM in different product development projects.
In this position You will have the opportunity to work with people around the world and with several areas as Technology, Operations, Purchasing, AB Volvo and mainly our preferred Suppliers.
The responsibility also includes the purchasing portfolio of the day to day challenges and tasks. In this role Your components are delivered to 7 sites in Europe.
Key words within Purchasing & Supplier Management at Volvo Construction Equipment such as cooperation, communication, drive, commitment and ownership are well known for You.
As a Buyer& Sub Project Leader You will be responsible for deliverables for purchased material in new product development project and purchasing portfolio in running production and problem resolutions in daily matters. You will also work with negotiations of development agreements, confidential contracts and "Letter of Intents" and perform the activities required for the assigned portfolio in line with the Sub Commodity.

You need to have a university degree in engineering, technical or business. We also think that You need to have project management skills and proven purchasing experience within electronics including software. If You also have a very strong drive and willingness to lead and take own initiatives along with an analytic, logic and strategic ability we think You can be a perfect match for this job.
