Within the Global Hygiene Supply organization in ESSITY, the ambition of Global Sourcing is to be recognized as the driver for best total cost for ESSITY. Operational Sourcing, within Global Sourcing, takes control of and drives down total costs by managing a sustainable and competitive supply base utilizing appropriate sourcing strategies, processes, tools and resources which support the needs of the business.
As part of the Global Sourcing organization, Operational sourcing is responsible for managing spend and driving synergies across ESSITY and for ensuring policy compliance.
Operational sourcing is currently looking for a Buyer with sourcing experience to join our business site in Gothenburg. Scope for this position is primarily local but also regional and global projects exist.
Main responsibilities of the position
Work with e-Sourcing tool, purchase orders and responsible for contract management.
Drive usage and compliance of purchasing requisition tool Ariba.
Ariba catalogue management.
Meet high expectations in delivering total cost savings.
Primarily indirect materials and services (IT, HR, FM, R&D services).
Spend- and market analysis.
Challenge specifications, timing and pool demand for scale of economy.
Ensure compliance with ESSITY policies.
Recommend and manage supplier tenders, supplier relationship management (SRM) and design to cost opportunities for spend categories.
Source new suppliers and improve, renegotiate current framework agreements within a wide range of categories.
Support development and implementation of strategies for sourcing of goods and services.
In specific sourcing cases; lead sourcing team with stakeholders.
Within the Sourcing department you will have a central function with a large number of contacts, both internally and externally. A structured way of working and a professional business manner is paramount.
Requirements and expectations
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Experience, from relevant procurement operations, exceeding 3 years with demonstrated sourcing competence.
Embraces technology, system and tools, with experience using e-Sourcing tool box.
You are characterized by high energy and drive.
You are calm and structured under pressure and strive always to exceed stakeholder- and customer expectations.
Strong analytical competence.
Good ability to read and understand contractual terms and conditions.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken). Good knowledge in Swedish is meritorious.
Experience of change management, ability to drive change successfully.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft office palette in general and possess advanced Excel skills.
Capable of leading projects with multiple stakeholders.
Experience from indirect materials and services categories.
