MVV was founded in 1990 as a software company with focus on balancing manufacturing processes. We are a fast growing consulting company with approximately 50 employees and a broad experience in both product and production development. Primarily, MVV:s customers are in the areas of automotive, offshore, oil/gas and manufacturing.
To suit the role as a consultant at MVV, we believe that you are positive, driven and outgoing. Since almost all of our assignments are on site it is important to be humble and able to listen to the customer's needs. You are also independent and solution-oriented.
Position description:
The Purchasing department is responsible for all commercial businesses regarding direct and indirect material and services.
The purchasing team is rapidly growing and contains of approx. 40 persons located in Trollhättan and additional 12 persons
in our local China office. The team is operating in a well-defined global purchasing process based on team work between Buyers, SQE's & Cost Engineers.
The role of the Purchaser/Buyer involves:
• Creating effective and long-term supplier relationships
• Procurement of systems, components and services
• Establishing and negotiate purchase contracts
• Continuous development of efficient processes and procedures
• Ability to work x-functional within purchasing and supply chain
Skills and required experience:
We are looking for someone who has:
• Technical, Economic or Legal University degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in purchasing activities in industry
• Relevant experience in the automotive industry
• Experience to negotiating business contracts
• Knowledge and experience of the Chinese supplier base is a valuable advantage
• Driver license B
You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
