For our esteemed client in the automotive sector, we are on the lookout for a Buyer specialized in Exterior Procurement.
Do you possess a quick adaptability and a flexible mindset, with an interest in the cutting-edge domain of the automotive industry? Join an international team of buyers focused on the exterior segment. Your role will involve engaging in new procurement processes, ensuring the smooth operation of ongoing projects, and handling everyday tasks. This team operates within the Exterior Procurement division, dealing with components like Painted Plastics, Lighting Systems, Functional Plastics, Car Accessories, Mirrors, and Washer/Wipers systems.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
• Act as main contact for commercial issues towards the suppliers' base for running production
• Negotiate commercial and time consequences at suppliers connected to design changes in vehicle projects incl establish agreements
• Support price negotiations, during program phase as well as running production changes
• Participate in cross functional teams within Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing
• Administration work involves transactions, updating price files, reporting of performance
Competence Requirements:
• Economical alt. technical education at university or likewise
• Able to plan and drive your own work and deliver result in time
• Good skills in communication, especially in English

• Motivated by identifying/enabling/creating new solutions and new business opportunities in this area
