Job description
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to help us transient smoothly into the next phase of our journey. Our order stock and delivery plan for the coming years include significant growth which means that we have to strengthen our quality assurance and industrial setup.
As Quality Assurance Specialist at Exensor, you will contribute to the company's success by securing that we deliver our products/projects in the right quality and in accordance with the corporate and internal guidelines. The job also contains quality assurance in development, so it is important that you have an interest within both areas. Thirdly it also contains close cooperation with our mother company in France in order to adapt parts of their Quality system (Best Practice).
You will be placed in Lund with regular travels once or twice per month to our production facility in UK, Basingstoke and Paris (Bertin) and our main European sub-contractors.
Your main responsibilities will be found within the field of quality assurance with a focus on how to optimize the processes to handle the growth while maintaining and improving the quality system.
In addition, within 12 months, the position will open up for being responsible for ISP which is the approvals and rules we have to respect being a company delivering products to Ministries of Defence around the world.
It is important that you have a good business understanding so you can help the organisation to optimize the processes used for the benefit of all in the organisation. You will work closely with the Technical Director in Lund and the Production Director in the UK to achieve our future performance goals.
You will have a close collaboration with the rest of the Management team and report directly to the COO of Exensor Technology in Lund.
Key responsibilities;
Secure right and adequate quality in internal as well as external deliveries
Keep track of failure analysis and warranty repairs
Create Performance/Quality reports to support production and strategic decision-making.
Drive yearly ISO re-certification in UK and Lund (ISO 9001 & ISO 9000)
Own, drive and control the quality system
Keep track of Warranty repairs and associated cost
Internal and external audits
Harmonization and optimization of existing quality/business processes
Support project Management and Engineering
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this position, you have 4-5 years of experience in a similar role and proven international experience. You have strong skills in handling production as well as development but with focus on production. You are confident with Quality systems and feel comfortable in controlling internal as well as external suppliers. It is a strong merit if you have experience from the Electronic sector but it is not a requirement.
You will use English as business language and you need to be fluent in at least one Scandinavian language - preferably Swedish.
