Position's overall objective
• Global Budget (Profit & Loss level) responsibility of the Business Unit, including Sales Management, Business Unit Cost Management, and After Sales
• Strategic Development of the Business Unit, including developing a long term (4/5 year) Strategy for the BU.
• Communicate 'What' is needed from the Functions (Production, Purchasing, Finance, Quality, R&D) to achieve the Objectives of the Business Unit
Primary responsibilities
• Prepare the Sales and Cost budget in line with objectives from the Board, MD, and Group Management Team.
• Achieve the Sales & Cost Budget, thru management of the KraftPowercon marketing- and sales staff globally.
• Define BU Market Strategies including decisions on geographies, development of KraftPowercon Sales resources and Distributors / Agents
• Monitor results regularly and Implement actions when results are not in line with objectives.
• In coordination with the Product Manager, to finalize the Product Roadmap for the BU
• Communicate Needs of Business Unit and interact with Functions (Production, Purchasing, Finance, Quality, R&D] in a matrix organization
• Periodic Reports to Board and Management team, including information of Business, technical-, commercial and application nature.
• Expand and develop a Team within the Business Unit
• Develop and Build the Strategy Change Agenda, and run Strategic Programs for development of the BU
• Develop the Upgrade Business of ESPs globally using KraftPowercon Power Supply solutions
Authorities
• Authority on all BU Sales matters, including Pricing, Discounts as specified in the Authorization Plan, for the level 'Business Unit Director'
• Approvals of all expenses and costs incurred by the Business Unit, as per the Authorization Plan for the level 'Business Unit Director'
• Approvals of BU related Investments, as approved in the Budget
• Staff Decisions including Salary talks, employment, and termination of BU staff.
• Release of Business Unit Budgets, Strategic Plans and Product Development Roadmaps, subject to approval by the Board / MD / Management Team.
Work activities
• BU Management at Strategic and Operational Level
• Preparing and Reviewing Strategies, Budgets, Product Roadmaps.
• Operational Sales, Customer visits
• Sales Contract negotiations and Reviews
• Planning and Approving BU Investments, Expenses, Exhibitions, Advertising, etc.
• Team Management, Recruitments, Salary Talks
• Presentations and Meetings with Board, MD and Management Teams.
