hela Sverige Position: Business Unit Controller | Primary location: Trollhättan, Sweden | Division: Pump & Motor Region: EMEA | Schedule: Full-time | Start date: September 1st 2018 | Last day to apply: 30/4
The main purpose of the job as a Business Unit Controller is to plan, implement, manage, and control financial activities within the Parker Hannifin Pump and Motor Division, EMEA. You will focus on analysis and follow-up of business goals, and actively highlight and push for improvement measures in our Business Unit. As a member of the Business Unit Management team, you collaborate cross-functionally as business partner.
Key responsibilities:
• Ensure that the Business Unit's finance and accounting systems conform to US-GAAP, local statutory requirements, Sarbanes-Oxley and all PARKER policies
• Timely and accurate financial reporting and forecasting (monthly, quarterly, annually)
• P&L and Balance Sheet for all consolidated data of the Business Unit
• Development of annual financial plan
• Development of STD-Costs in compliance with PARKER policies
• Analyze results, identify issues and develop solutions
• Lean accounting / continuous improvement of finance and controlling processes
• Conduct internal audits and policy conformity checks, partner for external financial auditors
• Lead, support and coordinate the tasks and activities of the Business Unit Controlling Team
• Support professional development of the Business Unit Controlling Team
This position reports directly to the Division Controller.
We're looking for a highly motivated Controller with several years' experience as Location Controller in a manufacturing environment.
Education requirements:
• Master of Business Administration (MBA), with focus on Controlling/Cost Accounting
Knowledge and experience requirements:
• US-GAAP, Swedish-GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley-Guidelines
• Several years' experience as Location Controller in a manufacturing environment
• Experience as a Team Leader
• Expert user level understanding of an ERP-system
• Expert user level in MS-Office applications (Excel, VBA)
• Cultural awareness
• Language skills: fluency in English and Swedish
To succeed in the position as a Business Unit Controller you will need excellent analytical skills and be results driven. Furthermore, good communication skills are required, as well as strong management and leadership skills.
