The Business Unit Health & Medical Solutions (HMS) is seeking to fill the position of Business Unit Controller. The position reports to the Director Business Unit Controlling and is based in Gothenburg.
Main Tasks
Support the Director Business Unit Controlling in monitoring of business unit overall performance and deviations against targets and forecasts
Pro-actively coordinate the monthly management reporting with Region Sales and Marketing Controlling and Central Supply Chain controlling
Execute the quarterly forecast and annual budget process with Region Controlling
Understand & challenge Region forecasts and as such secure predictability of result
Work closely with Central functions such as Human Resource and IT, as well as the own Business Unit cost centers, to report and control costs on a monthly basis
Prepare the Long-Term Financial plan aligned with Business Unit Strategy and financial aspirations
Drive process efficiency and harmonization across the business
Participate in global projects by providing analytical support & financial justification projects
Act as business partner for Region and Business Unit Controlling, including preparation support for meetings
Key Competencies
Sound financial understanding & good accounting know-how
Business acumen. Needs to have a keen understanding and interest for the business
Team player with good inter-personal skills
Strong analytical & business planning skills
Driving performance
Pro-active & self-starting with high ambition levels to develop further
High knowledge in Excel
High IT proficiency ((preferable capabilities in SAP, MS Office)
Experience and background requirements
Degree in Finance/Economics or similar
Maximum 2 years financial/controlling experience in a multi-national business environment
Fluent in English
