As Business Technology Specialist your objective is to manage stability, efficiency and risk in the day-to-day and long-term operations of the East Capital business systems and deliver improvement projects and new development to meet business needs.
You will be a part of the Business Technologies team within East Capital's IT department, which is a smaller, yet modern and dynamic environment. Together with your team you will be responsible for East Capital business systems and data integrations within Trading, Middle Office, Finance and Compliance systems, data warehousing and reporting.
The scope of this role ranges from daily support to overall questions of relevant business systems and data flows. For example, your will manage systems connected to:
• Trading, e.g. OMS (thinkFolio), BBG EMSX, FX trading (FXALL), Excel tools and relevant static data management
• Support, data management with MS SSIS and MS SQL technology and development for in-house software development tools as NAVDW, Security Master, price management system, Sec Lending, including data import management with C# scripts, VBScript,
• Analytics within Business Systems and data integrations: understanding specific details and demands from different departments and "translate" these into IT/ Business Technology implementations and solutions together with system providers
• Reporting, e.g. QlikView, SSRS, StatPro and Excel reporting tools
The role also includes project management for smaller developments/changes/integrations. You will also be involved in yearly security audits and licensing questions within East Capital business systems. Also, PD management and compliance questions as well as change- and incident management will be a part of your role.
Är det här du?
To be successful in this role we think you have relevant experience from the Finance industry especially within Middle Office and/or Trading functions as well experience from PM and Finance reporting. Due to the technical aspects of the role we also see that you have knowledge in SQL (scripting, database and user management), VBA, and SSIS.
Experience from the following gives extra merit: MS SSRS, QlikView, C#-scripts, StatPro (or similar), OMS, Blomberg Excel tools and Bloomberg EMSX.
We are looking for a goal focused person, able to work both independently and as a group member in a dynamic environment with the skills needed to lead smaller projects and implementations and the ability to perform well in a multicultural business environment.
