A Business System Specialist will work with subject matter experts and end users to ensure that business system is meeting transactional expectations. This position requires good communication skills and technical troubleshooting abilities in order to analyze and resolve business system problems as well as provide documentation where required. It requires a thorough, detail oriented and highly motivated team player with a positive attitude to serve as a liaison and enhance communication between Business System Support and Business Operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
You will advise on and optimize various business processes in the area of Field Service Management with the focus on the business objectives Global Services
You review various software concepts and IT applications, assure their quality and maintain contact with third-party providers.
You advise your colleagues on subject-specific questions
You will analyze the needs of the internal clients and help on the implementation of the applications.
You give workshops to the technical team and users on site
You sit together with the organization to work our further details and validate solutions
You follow market evolutions accurately and share this knowledge with the team
You review various software concepts and IT applications, assure their quality and maintain contact with third-party providers.
You advise your colleagues on subject-specific questions
Test new features, integrations and prepare supporting documentation
Look for new Technology (Hololens, AR, VR and IoT)
Education/Knowledge/Skills/Ability
A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science (especially business informatics), or in Business Administration with a focus on IT with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role including project management.
You are able to work and collaborate transversally and think strategically.
You are open to new trends and innovations
Able to research and prototype the use of new and existing technologies
You have a critical view of existing processes and structures.
You understand ERP, CRM, FSM
Preference to have knowledge about IFS Apps, Salesforce
Preference to have knowledge about Lotus Notes
You like to take ownership and show flexibility.
You are fluent in English (spoken and written)
