Position Description:
Process and IT is of increasing strategic importance for the Volvo Group. There are great expectations that it will make us work more global, more integrated and more efficient throughout the Volvo Group and Group Trucks Technology. The P&IT function has the mission to drive process and IT strategy.
The Process and IT Develop Product department within GTT has the task to develop, implement and continuously improve the IT tools for GTT. The Department is responsible for creating and maintaining the long term roadmaps of our IT solutions and securing the information flow. During the coming years there will be an increased focus on changes and improvements of the way of working. High demands will be put on consolidating our application portfolio. We are now looking for an experienced co-worker to lead the development in the CAD and vPDM portfolio. In order to succeed we think it is important to have a solid knowledge and background in product development, and in particular PDM development.
Tasks and responsibilities:
As Leader for the CAD and vPDM Portfolio within GTT, you will lead new development work from the business side, developing the solutions in the coming years. This means managing the long-term roadmap. Furthermore, to secure that these projects will be executed. You shall be able to lead and act in a network of people cross organizations.

Profile and qualifications:
• Master degree in an Engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience within product development of commercial vehicles
• Able to demonstrate a clear vision, global mindset and successful people & culture leadership
• Knowledge of CAD and vPDM systems
• Training and experience in project management
• Good knowledge in English, both written and spoken
