The Production Technical Specialist carries out activities in receiving, accepting and deploying new Products or new releases from the Infrastructure Management function. The Production Technical Specialist validates, verifies, prepares and deploys these for production in the runtime environment and ensures compliance with agreed delivery times, costs and performance targets. The Production Technical Specialist carries out advanced technical support and optimum dimensioning of the production environment according to specifications.
The role of the BSM Services area is to provide an interface to our services and the Application Operation Functional Area. The BSM Services team delivers to various stakeholders including Service Monitoring, Service Run Time Management, Application Development teams, and in some cases external customers.
About the job:
You will be responsible for validating, verifying, preparing and developing products in runtime environment and ensuring compliance with agreed delivery times, costs and performance targets. You will be installing the products in runtime and be responsible for the quality, efficiency and security of the operation and technical support meets all its agreed SLA requirements and targets. You will be working with operation quality and security on given infrastructure and applications according with agreed Service Level Specifications (SLS) and specific regulations (SOX)
Also you will be responsible for the SLA requirements and targets are fulfilled. One of the tasks is that you are active in contributing to problem location and resolution regarding infrastructure and applications.
Qualifications:
• For this position, we are seeking a technician that has a history in support, helpdesk or monitoring
• You should also have understanding in maintaining servers
• You need to have knowledge in Windows Server, Mainframe, UNIX and Data transfer.
• For this position we are looking for a candidate that have a strong customer focus and give them high quality service
• You need to have open mind and good communications skills
• You should have the ability to keep many tasks in the loop
• For this position you need to be creative, innovated and know how to share information's to your coworkers
• Good written and spoken English are requirements
