hela Sverige Do you want to manage and optimize all IT activities for Schneider Electric in Sweden across different businesses? Are you good at managing projects and good at building relationships in a complex set-up, where you focus on both the results and process?
As a Business Service Manager at Schneider Electric you will have the main responsibility to develop our business and operations team to manage the complex relationships between services and the supporting technology infrastructure within the company.
Your daily focus:
You will act as a partner to the business (Single Point of Contact) with the responsibility for all IT related aspects within specific Business Units in Sweden. You will act as an integrator between the business and IT issues where you secure that the day to day IT-operations as well as agreed IT-projects are running in an optimal way.
You agree on needs and expectations from the business side and work with internal and external IT collaborators to realise this. You strengthen the good perception that IT contributes to the evolution of the company and creates opportunities for the business.
Your interface is broad since it both includes Business Managers across functions and business areas, the SAP team and the rest of the IPO team as well as external collaborators. You will be responsible for:
Supporting the management in defining the IT strategy and priorities for Sweden
Understand the business processes evolution and focus new requirements to the prioritized areas
Support the business in making business cases and different IT scenarios
Clarify, validate and challenge needs from key users or process owners
Monitor and ensure that the services delivered meet the business requirements, including evaluate SLA
Report IT results and organize frequent meetings with the Swedish management, including follow-up on the project portfolio, incidents, demands, escalation and cost
Manage IT cost within the budget and find ways of optimizing
The position covers specific business areas and their legal entities within Schneider Electric (Sweden). For this reason there will be frequent business travel to the various sites within the country and some occasional travel within the Nordic countries. You will be part of the global IT organization (IPO) and report to the Regions Zone Manager Nordic Baltics.
You are an excellent collaborator
Your educational background is at minimum bachelor level, and you have a minimum of 3 years experience from a similar role, and/or several years of experience as an IT project manager for big projects, where you have proven that you have a motivating working style. You have gained your experience from an international company with many interfaces and stakeholders. You have a general good IT technical understanding but not necessarily in the technical detail.
You have an analytical mind-set and a good understanding of business needs which you then translate to your technical partners resulting in optimal solutions for the business. You are structured, able to work independently and good at following up your projects.
You are a good communicator able to cooperate with different people and functions. You are fluent in English (both written and oral).
An international and dynamic workplace
You will be part of a dynamic culture where you will have a broad range of interfaces with a lot of contact to competent and passionate colleagues in different entities across the company. The position offers you a wealth of opportunities to develop your talents and to optimize IT related areas. In Schneider Electric, it is of great importance that the employees develop themselfes with the business, and this is also true for this position. We support you in your continuous development by e.g. internal training and make sure you will have a good integration program as well.
