To be successful in this role you should have 5 years of experience from running operation on site/store level, preferably store management, together with a background in risk management, preferably in retail businesses and strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
You have knowledge in following areas:
• understanding of IKEA's corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
• good knowledge of how to assess and mitigate risks in a business environment
• broad knowledge of procedures for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring compliance with federal laws, regulations and guidance
• extensive knowledge of how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders in IKEA
• extensive knowledge to achieve an optimal balance between opportunities and risks across the entire organization and in the same time creating a risk aware culture
• extensive knowledge of the IKEA business tools, processes and cycles
You know how to drive strategy by directing effort to achieve long-term business objectives. Networking, Building and maintains a system of strategic business connections comes naturally and in dealing with ambiguity you comfortably handle unclear or unpredictable situations. In driving change you champion new methods, digital systems and processes to improve performance. A key capability is planning & organising, where you know how to coordinate and direct activities to help achieve business objectives.
You apply industry insights, knowledge of industry trends, outlooks and emerging technologies to achieve organisational goals and objectives.

Your responsibilities
In line with the Group Business Risk & Compliance agenda you are to drive implementation and monitor the performance of Ingka Business Risk & Compliance frameworks and practices in respective Group Function or Business Area to enable a holistic and proactive risk handling based on business needs.
In Malmö we are looking for Business Partners to support in below areas:
• Group Real Estate
• Group Procurement
• Group P&C, Group Communication
• Group Digital
• Group Sustainability
• Retail

You will:
• together with the relevant stakeholders develop, maintain and implement Business Risk & Compliance policies, guidelines and frameworks to maximize business value in Group functions or Business Areas
• monitor the performance, effectiveness and adherence to Ingka Business Risk & Compliance frameworks and steering documents, as well as external regulations and legislations in respective group function or business area
• in cooperation with Group Functions- and Business Area management, ensure that risk and compliance capabilities are well embedded when creating and executing towards strategic and tactical business objectives and thereby securing right-by-design
• secure that Group functions and Business Areas have the right knowledge and competences needed to become risk aware and compliance conscious in running business
• be an advisory partner on Business Risk & Compliance subject matters within respective group function or business area to equip business leaders to take better risk aware and compliance conscious decisions
• conduct ad-hoc management and escalation of risk, internal control, compliance and/or safety & security and crisis findings and/or issues
• lead and conduct Compliance verification activities within the group function or business area in line with internal control framework
• in close collaboration with Centres of Expertise and Group function/Business area secure movement towards standardised and automated ways of working
• lead and inspire a risk and compliance performance mind-set, raise risk awareness and promote a risk culture and thereby supporting growth and maximization of business value
