The Business Project Leader leads the Business Teams, both in early phase (Business concept studies) and during the execution phase. The Business Teams contain all functions in the global organization (Design, MSS, R&D, Quality, Finance, Purchasing, Manufacturing, etc.).
As responsible for the Business Case of the car project, one major activity is to balance the product (content versus cost and versus revenue) from the start until Final Status Report.
The major responsibilities are among others to:
• Define and get approved the required specifications (Product
Attributes, Prices, Technology as well as Quality target and
Material Cost)
• Deliver the product according to the targets
• Define and deliver according to the financial targets (EBIT and/or
contribution margin) i.e. own the overall responsibility for the vehicle
program business and target fulfilment
• Secure all deliverables within project dimensions
• Define and manage program resources, timing, budget and risks
• Report program status to Geely and CEVT senior management
• Lead the preparation and conducts Milestone reviews
• Act as Co-chairman of the cross functional Vehicle Business
Meeting (R&D, Market, Design, Quality, Finance, etc)
• Lead a small team (1- 3 persons including Project Management)
that supports the project
The Business Project Leader reports to Senior Vice President PS/PPL & VLM.
We are looking for you that have a combined experience of for instance business, design, technology development, finance etc. You should have documented leadership capabilities. You have business sense and experience from position as Project Leader of complex projects in a large organization. Experience from position (or close to) as Program Manager, Vehicle Line Executive, or similar is an interesting background. As a person you have an entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and ability to create good solutions in our business cases. Cultural awareness, specifically between Europe and Asia, is also an important factor to be successful. Suitable theoretical background is master degree.
