This creates a very exciting and demanding environment and Klarna Legal is no exception ? we therefore seek to strengthen our team with one more motivated and business oriented Legal Counsel. You will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer.
Klarna Legal works closely integrated with the business. As Legal Counsel you will provide legal advice and operate within all aspects of the legal framework, whether it concerns negotiating business critical contracts, supporting sales and project leaders, investigating legal prerequisites in general or managing the legal set-up connected to our territorial expansion. On a daily basis you will find challenges that require creative, practical and secure answers, in the pursuit of which you will be able to use all of your capabilities and analytical skills on a long as well as on a short term basis.

Requirements
You are a business oriented lawyer with strong analytical skills and you take pride in finding new solutions to existing problems. To succeed in this position you are also diligent, efficient and you possess excellent communication skills. You probably regard reviewing and drafting of agreements as a special strength of yours and you are interested in intellectual property, IT law and/or data protection.
You are fluent in Swedish and English and preferably in German, and you have an appropriate law degree (from Sweden or Germany). You further have some level of relevant experience from Sweden, Germany or from elsewhere, along with a personal drive and a passion for your career.
