About the job
As our new Business Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for our High Speed Separator business unit in the Marine & Diesel division. You will lead a team of seven employees - in new sales. You will join Alfa Laval market Unit Marine Energy in Tumba and as a  member of the market unit management team report to the Market Unit Manager based in Shanghai.
The challengeYou will have the opportunity to drive the business through sales companies and be responsible for everything from sales to business optimization. Further, this is a great international opportunity as the business cover markets all over the world - and you will thus travel approximately 40-80 days a year.
Your challenge will be to remain Applications leader - to ensure future strong market share with a high profitability. To meet future demands, it is important that you continuously are on top when it comes to product profitability and market trends, together with Operations and R&D.
Experience You have a university degree with a technical and/or financial background. You are a senior professional with technical interest and minimum 5 years experience preferably from  marine industry. Leadership experience is a benefit, however deep motivation to lead and develop a team is very important. Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
You thrive in an outgoing role where you reach out to many parts of the organization as well as engage in technical discussions with customers. You have the ability to sell your ideas with drive and passion about the business and the products. In order to succeed you need to take ownership of the business.
