Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations and control of the Scania-owned Commercial Operations companies and business units.

Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.

BB - Business Support is responsible for controlling, coordination and development of different support activities within Commercial Operations Management.
Commercial Operations Procurement Development (BBP) is responsible for the development and implementation of an efficient procurement process within our Commercial Operations companies.

We are now looking for a Business IT Analyst who will be part of our team in Södertälje to facilitate the important global implementation work in the Purchase to Pay process.

Work assignments
The Business IT Analyst is responsible for identifying and analysing the business needs and translate them to requirement on IT solutions. You will do that by structured analysis and documentation of business processes, information flows and IT requirements. In addition to that, you are also expected to develop the business by identifying possibilities that (new) technology may give. As a key player between business and IT you will analyse and evaluate technical solution proposals and acts as a controller of IT by addressing the question whereas we actually get business benefit for the money spent, how we use the functionality available, how deliveries correspond to what we order. You will also be the business' spokesperson when it comes to steering and controlling the IT road map in the Purchase to Pay area. You will be working closely with Business Units, Global Purchasing as well as our IT Provider Scania IT. As a Business IT Analyst you will also be a key player in our transformation projects. Occasional travelling is to be expected.

Your profile
Working in the area between business and IT requires that you understand and can handle both perspectives. You probably have experience from, or are eager to learn, Scania's purchase to pay processes and you have a genuine interest in how IT can make our business more efficient. You are a communicative, customer oriented, positive and driven person who is an expert in identifying and understanding problems and opportunities. In order to gather business requirements and explaining solutions you need to be good at facilitating and aligning different opinions. You probably have a degree from university, or similar experiences.

Leadership and good communication skills as well as ability to create confidence and trust among our internal customers is vital, since you will participate and lead projects regarding the implementation of IT tools incl. new methods and principles. You are fluent in both written and oral English. Other languages are meriting as well as knowledge of Basware IP and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
