Scania Financial Services is serving customers, dealers and distributors in 50 countries through 15 business units offering financing and insurance solutions. In markets where we operate, Financial Services finance about 40% of Scania's sales. Over 800 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 118 000 trucks, buses, coaches and trailers representing 56 bn SEK of assets. Furthermore, these assets are protected by 53 000 insurance contracts.
The central Process and IT function within Financial Services today consist of 9 people. We are now looking for a source of inspiration to join in our international and dynamic team working to support and service the subsidiaries around the world. Specifically we are looking for you who like to work in the interface between business and IT, to ensure that the business needs are converted into good solutions in our applications, either by ordering services from our partner or hands on create solutions in our applications.
The role of a Business IT analyst
Scania Financial Services has chosen MS Dynamics Ax (Axapta) as preferred application for the general ledger. Your focus will be to support and maintain the Axapta solution but you will not be limited to this but also asked to support in more general maintenance topics for other applications supported and maintained with us. Apart from the support and maintenance role you will also have a project or project management role in implementing the software or larger activities related to the software, like major upgrades.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a passion for IT and business support solutions, wanting to contribute to our further development in this area. You should have relevant education for the position or have acquired this knowledge in your profession.
Your skills and/or qualities should preferably include:
• Proven skills in the technical set up of Axapta to be able to understand and translate business needs into solutions in the common system setup
• Broad experience from working with requirements (functional and none functional)
• Experience in bridging the gap between the business need and the system ability
• Project Management skills to take headquarter responsibility in the Axapta implementation
Experience from the leasing, financing and insurance business as well as good understanding of accounting within this area, is a plus.
As a person you are structured, have quality in focus, are analytical and result oriented. You need to act proactively in the contacts with local finance companies, and have the ability to communicate, and negotiate for central IT initiatives. The job offers plenty of international contacts both with our finance companies as well as software suppliers. This of course requires high interpersonal skills as well as fluency in English. The international environment in which you will be working also means that you will be expected to travel from time to time.
In this position you will be reporting to the Head of IT and Process.
