About the role:
Trustly is sitting on a treasure trove of millions and millions of transactions and we now need someone to help us unlock all the insights hidden in there. We are therefore looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist. You will join our Product team that is working with defining the roadmap, setting priorities and specifying features of Trustly's products.
Our BI strategy, which you will take the lead on defining, will include several different applications and systems: our internally developed Backoffice, Qlik Sense and others. In the longer term, we are looking at creating a dedicated Business Intelligence team and that team will then work with you to execute your strategy. Before that is in place, you will be asked to work hands-on with Qlik Sense so experience from that or another BI tool is essential.
Responsibilities
• Define and coordinate the company's BI strategy together with Trustly's Head of Products
• Act as a liaison between different departments and functions within the company to understand their BI needs
• Support other parts of the Product Team with input and ideas on what data we can make available for our customers to support their businesses
• Set up and configure our Qlik Sense installation; create ETL tasks, create reports, define views, et c.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience from a BI tool like Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Tableau or a similar program
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Experience of requirement analysis and/or product ownership
• Preferred but not required: Experience as a BI consultant and/or employed at a company interpreting an organization's requirements and then mapping them to a suitable BI solution
