We are looking for a BI Developer for our team Customer & Analytics, which is a part of Vattenfall IT, and supports Vattenfall with Business Intelligence Solutions.
Our group provides support in analytics solutions for Vattenfall, we support in how we can use our data for analytics, build dashboards and BI solutions, provide advice for new BI tools and data management strategies, advice and create storage solutions and enable data accessibility through integration from different sources.
What does a BI Developer at Vattenfall do?
As a BI developer you will work towards our business units, before all in customer related areas (Sales, Distribution, Customer Service and Heat). You will be the counterpart for the business in advising on and forming BI solutions. You are a BI developer who understands business requirements to be able to design, build, integrate data from various sources and to manage BI solutions.
Our ideal candidate:
• You are interested and able to deal with complex data modelling and have experience in BI development.
• You like to use your hands-on mentality to solve challenging issues, problem solving is crucial in the role. The willingness and ability to learn is key.
• You are a team player and are strong in written and spoken communication, as you will be interacting with internal clients in your projects.
• You preferably have knowledge within the following areas: Installing and maintaining Microsoft database and data warehouse solutions, Structured Data modelling (unstructured optional), Extraction Transformation and, Loading (ETL), Analytic solutions - Creating reports and Dashboards , Microsoft SQL Data Warehouse, SQL developing, SSIS / SSAS / SSRS, Azure BI Platform, Data Factory, Power BI
