In June 2023, Volvo Group Purchasing has created a dedicated Electromobility organization with the ambition to grow it's focus, expertise and impact to Zero Emission Leadership. With this new organization The Strategic development team has been created with the purpose to position and contribute in strategic working groups looking into the End to End transition factors to Electric Commercial Vehicles, supporting the Volvo Group Transformation towards it's ambition of being 100% fossile free by 2040.
You will be instrumental in building intelligence and market analysis for this team and Purchasing at large.

What will you do?

Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will :
* Build intelligence from various sources, gather trends & datas in order to build relevant business inputs to the Purchasing organization on selected topics such as: Vertical integration risk and opportunities, product maturity, market maturity on e-systems, Purchasing levers to EVs competitiveness, ....
* Lead consultancy projects, leverage the outcome into various strategic ecosystems
* Watch the industry trends and recommend possible new areas of investigation.
* Act as a connector, change agent and developer in the GTP organization.
* Interact across the purchasing organization, communicate about the trends & findings to support Purchasing segment leaders in adapting their strategies

What do you bring with you?

We believe you have the ability to gather and structure market information, secure they are relevant to the Electric Commercial Vehicle business and draw conclusions. You are self driven, with the ability to build a network of experts and strategic development colleagues around the Volvo Group. You bring with you:
University degree in Engineering/Technology and/or Business Administration.
Good knowledge in Automotive and or Commercial Vehicle Industry, understanding of the Electrification challenges is a strong asset.
* Excellent business acumen and Strategic thinking
* Excellent skills in communication, collaboration and networking.
* Excellent ability to deliver in a global, multi-dimensional and multi-cultural organization.
* Attitude and ability to challenge proposals and decisions for the best of Volvo Group and customer success
