The Data & Cyber Security Management team is part of the GTO CIO Office. The team you will be a part of has a global responsibility for governing and managing prioritized data within GTO. Architecture and tools to support is an important part of our work.
We are a great mixed team of seven highly engaged colleagues working with business information architecture, cyber security and data privacy. We gain success by collaborating with each other.
You will work in close collaboration with many roles such as architects, business experts, decision bodies and various business key stakeholders throughout the Volvo Group. We are aiming for a digitalized future, and the Digital Factory is one cornerstone. We need you to help us with transformation to a data driven company. Together we will secure that our data is accessible and of high quality.
To support our business in achieving good results we believe that you have an interest in future business innovation and business technology and that you enjoy exploring new areas and gain new knowledge. We work in various networks with persons from all around the Volvo Group so you will have a great opportunity to network and see different aspects of the Volvo Group in this position. We are looking for someone who is a great communicator and who can help us spread the knowledge and understanding of the value of our data. We think that you enjoy structure to visualize information, its usage and its relation to other information and that you strongly feel that Quality is important.
In this position you will act as Business Information Architect. You will support and enable business development through the science of organizing and labelling information and data across the Volvo Group Processes and IT Applications. This includes supporting the overall quality and performance of the data in the GTO processes. You will participate in, or drive studies and investigations related to information architecture. In this role you will contribute to define end to end ways of working ensuring quality, business value and stable processes and solutions for our business. You will work with change management ensuring that our data governance and new ways of working are understood and embraced.
As a Business Information Architect you will proactively work with information modelling, change management for digitalization, business capability mapping, setting up prerequisites for improving GTO 's data quality, management of GTO and Volvo Group master data and other key data, ensure compliance to GTO 's target architecture and ensure that there is a connection between processes and information.
Qualifications that we are looking for
Comfortable in Change management and Communication
You are experienced in information management & governance topics such as Data Quality, Data Lineage, Data Discovery, Business Glossaries etc.
Up to date on development of architectures and processes for information management, including Master Data and Big Data Management
Knowledge and skills in how to utilize new technologies, such as Data Lakes and Data Catalogues
Business Process knowledge and awareness, understanding the Business facing IT services within Manufacturing,
Pragmatic and result driven
Relevant University Degree
Fluent in English
