What you will be a part of
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Airborne ISR (a business unit within Support & Services) is currently leading a number of ongoing major aircraft modification/integration projects. We deliver Surveillance Aircrafts (AEW/MPA/MSA) and our business interacts with other Saab Business Areas demanding exceptional cooperation skills.
Good communication and cooperation is key words in our efforts to satisfy our customers' needs.
The staff function has dedicated positions for Risk management, Quality and also Continous Improvements and we now seek a new Business Improvement Manager to take lead in our future challenges.
You will be part of an experienced but small team working in a fast and expanding business focusing on continous improvement. Your contribution is a key to success in our Mega projects and we spare no effort to improve.
Our customers' security depend on our products and services to be "world class".
Your role
Your future challenges will be to:
• Firmly drive the continous improvements in our business to efficiently handle growing volumes and an expanding organization. -Build a strong network with key decision makers and colleagues to enable change. You will be reporting to project managers, steering committee and the management team. -Manage several cross functional improvement teams in areas like design, production, logistics, supply chain, modification, flight test and management. -Enable development of new methods and improve existing. -Become an important part of our team and a spokesperson of our culture. -Understand our future requirements and propose challenging ideas to the top management. -Be able to coach and develop colleagues and inspire to great accomplishments.
Your skills and experience
You have a technical masters degree and have experience from large integration project including design, manufacturing and assembly.
We believe you are an experienced Project Manager that cannot resist an opportunity to improve.
It is important that you are able to get the big picture of our projects but also find improvements in the details.
You will need to challenge and energize the project teams and therefor you must like working with people and understand that there can be different views on the same issue.
We are sure our success depends on your persistence, a structural way of working and your ability to make others understand the way forward.
