In the role as HSE specialist you will contribute to improving HSE performance within HVDC, a business unit within ABB Power Grids. Are you ready to try yourself in this interesting, challenging and awarding role? Read more about your responsibilities and work tasks below.
Your responsibilities
Empowering the management team to understand obligations, liability and how to fulfil their roles in accordance with local HSE laws, customer requirements, company policies and standards.
Engaging internal and external stakeholders and cooperating with other functions to raise awareness and gain commitment to HSE objectives and progress, as required.
Reporting progress and implementation of HSE objectives and KPIs.
Facilitating HSE Projects in daily practices, tenders and any specific HSE programs run in the company.
Targeting and investigating HSE incidents, gathering feedback and communicating lessons learned and best practices to the business.
Supporting HSE risk assessments and ensuring all processes and corrective actions are implemented to protect our employees from harm.

Your background
Minimum of 3 years HSE experience.
HSE experience from infrastructure construction projects.
Expertise in management systems and reporting.
Knowledge of electrical safety, fabrication and installation.
Qualification of contractors and experience of audits.
You have the ability to manage complex issues and work with cross-functional teams.
You are a driven, open-minded, committed and a self-reliable person.
You are a good communicator who is able to efficiently lead and coordinate teams.
