Job description
Within our Product, we develop tools for financial steering. We develop and enable insights on turnover, financial steering and consolidation of the group's financial situation.
We want to strengthen our financial data quality, by modernizing our platform and transition to the cloud. We are therefore looking for a Business Expert within controlling and financial data. As a Business Expert within Finance, you will work with agile methodologies in a cross-competence team with a common goal to ensure that our product development is in line with business needs and help solve business problems for customers and our business end users.
You will contribute with your controlling and business expertise and work together with your product team and stakeholders such as Group Management, Controllers, Accounts Management, Store Management and financial data object owners. Our aim is to give insight into current turnover and financial status, by developing tools for financial steering, planning and data.
Responsibilities
As a Business Expert you support your Product Owner and partner with stakeholders to turn their visions into solutions. You work with your fellow colleagues in your product team and apply your financial expertise; together you are responsible for proving the best solutions. Furthermore, you will:
• Perform business need analysis, refine requirements, features & stories supporting product roadmap
• Facilitate forums and workshops, where technology, business, and end-users meet to structure and concretize new possibilities in the midterm strategic roadmap
• Document and support development together with the product team and partners
• Collaboration cross-functional with business functions and co-sourced with platform vendors as well as integrating partners.
The Business Expert believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. Working with a focus on value creation, growth and serving customers with full ownership and accountability, delivering exceptional customer and business results.
Who are you
You have the ability to gather, analyze and understand customer and business needs, to create business cases and tie them to product value propositions based on identified market opportunities. You understand impact against product backlog and impact on the team and have the confidence to make quick decisions and support the product owners to make sure that they constantly prioritize.
Furthermore, you have:
• Holistic understanding of multi brand & multichannel -retail processes as well as the financial planning and analysis domain
• Experience and understanding of work according to agile methods
• Experiences from work connecting to financial data warehouse, Data Quality, Planning processes, Report-library and controlling is a plus.
