hela Sverige Husqvarna Group is now looking to strengthen the Business Engagement area by recruiting a Business Engagement Manager for the RD and Manufacturing.
Organization Description - Construction Division IT (CD GIS)
Husqvarna Construction Division Global Information Services (CD GIS) is a fairly new organization with the purpose to further strengthen the IT delivery towards the business and be seen as a true business partner. The organization can be seen as a broker between the business and IT. The organization consists of five different functions; Business Engagement, Governance, Operations and Enterprise Architecture.
Department Description
One of the departments within Husqvarna CD GIS is the Business Engagement Department (CD GIS BE). The purpose of the department is to bridge the gap between the business and IT. The department consists of a number of Business Engagement Manager positions and a resource pool with resources such as Business Analysts and Project Managers.
Position/Job Description
At Husqvarna Group, the Business Engagement Manager position is similar to ITIL's Business Relationship Manager. The Business Engagement Manager is simply put the IT key-account manager with one leg in the technology and one leg in the business. The purpose is to understand the business and proactively see how IT can be used to further strengthen the business. The Business Engagement Manager shall function as a catalysator for IT solutions within the business and contribute in the ongoing digitalization journey.
Key responsibilities as Business Engagement Manager are: Take an active part in Husqvarna Group PLM and Manufacturing transformation projects.
Be the link between Business and IT, related to the PLM transformation project.
Communicate Program progress towards Business and GIS both in written and in meetings.
Pro-actively drive and support PLM and Manufacturing related topics.
Act as a project manager for sub areas related to the programs.
Propose and create agendas and share information with top management.
Build and maintain good relations with key business stakeholders.
Collect demands, make business cases and start-up change initiatives within domains.
Be up to date with latest technology within relevant areas.
Take an active part in and contribute to the Extended CD GIS Management Team.
Be part of the ongoing strategy work to strengthen the IT delivery.
Build operational excellence and enable IT to be a true partner to the business.
Responsible for the deliveries and progress of the actual project portfolio including project financials (budget, forecast etc.)
Line Manager responsibility when appropriate.
The Business Engagement Manager reports directly to the Business Engagement Director and is in addition part of the Extended Management Team, led by the Vice President IT Services Solutions Construction.
Your profile
You have at least a bachelor within relevant area and 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably from Business Relationship Management, Delivery Management, Program, Project Management or similar. You have proven knowledge and experience within larger transformation projects and from RD and Manufacturing. industries. Furthermore we believe that you have knowledge from working in project steering committees and from financial planning (budget, forecast etc.)
In addition to the above, we would like to see a person in this role that is driven, structured and self-going. Excellent communication and networking skills are required as you will work with a large stakeholder group, both internal and external. You need to be fluent in English. Reading and understanding Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement. In this position personal suitability is of the essence.
Location
Jonsered, but travels will occur.
