Business Engagement Manager - Manufacturing Europe & Asia
The Husqvarna Group is the world's largest producer of outdoor power products including chainsaws, trimmers, lawn mowers and garden tractors. We need to reinforce our IT-organization with a Business Engagement Manager for the business areas Manufacturing Europe & Asia. Location for this position is Huskvarna.
Global Information Services
GIS (Global Information Services), the IS/IT department of HusqvarnaAB is responsible for the delivery of IS/IT services throughout the group. The organization is based in three major hub sites, Huskvarna, Charlotte N.C and Shanghai.
The Business Engagement (BE) department represents the primary contact point between Global Information Services (GIS) and its customers in the business. The department is responsible for understanding and soliciting demand from all areas of the company and translating them into requirements for IT solutions. BE is further responsible for building and maintaining business analysis competence valuable to both IT and the business.
BE Team responsibility and essential duties
Manage and maximize the professionalism of delivery of world-class services that customers experience when interacting with GIS
• Understand customer requirements, their strategies, goals, processes and their problems
• Demonstrate strong sense of ownership for customers' satisfaction, develop, manage and maintain customers proactively
• Build customer relations and networks across customer locations
• Facilitate workshops and key meetings for requirements capture. Prioritize feedback,
new requirements and service change requests
• Based on customer requirements, formalize project proposals with business cases and hand over to Portfolio Manager. Act as champion for all proposals in
internal governance forums
• Formalize and launch pre-studies in identified areas where resource consumption is within agreed and allocated boundaries
• Responsible for project business case value tracking to ensure delivery on commitments
• Offer services proactively, be a go-to person for manufacturing Europe/Asia
• Together with the Service Manager manage recurring meetings, SLA reviews and customer reporting according to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
defined in Service Level Agreements.
• Act as a trusted customer advisor providing information about service charging mechanism and clarifications about specific charges on recurring invoices
We seek you who match our preferred qualifications:
• Higher Education Degree or equivalent (Business or Information Systems)
• 5 year experience of Manufacturing processes and MRP System Support or usage
• Experience from similar roles in a global organization is an asset
• Experience from the manufacturing industry
• Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. As we are a global organization this includes excellent skills in English
