ISS is offering an exciting, creative, team oriented sales environment for someone looking to advance their career in financial services sales. We are seeking a highly enthusiastic Junior Sales person to help drive revenue growth for our business across the ISS' Nordic territories, supporting the existing team of sales executives. The role will focus on new business and will involve educating clients and prospects on the ISS suite of Governance and Responsible Investment services to a range of asset owners, investment managers, and Hedge Funds. The role will be based in Stockholm with a Nordic focus and is ideal for an individual looking early on in their sales career with the prospect of moving into a Sales Executive role at ISS in one and a half to two years.
Key Objectives
Assist sales team in achieving new business targets.
Analyze a large territory and identify key prospecting opportunities.
Leverage technology, email, and phone to get meetings and identify opportunities.
Help sales team meet sales targets across all product segments.
Develop innovative sales hunting techniques.
Develop thorough understanding of ISS product sets in order to effectively demonstrate what we can offer to prospects.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Account Executives to develop a territory plan and grow the pipeline of new business opportunities among existing client base and new prospects.
• Identify new customer relationships across all segments (Hedge Funds,Investment Managers, and Pension Funds) through cold calling, e-mails, marketing campaigns and developing creative business techniques to get in front of prospects.
• Maintain records, status notes and pipeline content in Salesforce and other online and mobile tools.
• Utilise technology such as Excel, PowerPoint and other applications to track and build data on prospects.
Qualifications:
Professional skills and qualifications:
• Fluent in English, Swedish and one other European language.
• Outstanding writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new content, sales strategies, and learn new products and services.
• Must be extremely proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
• Fearless approach to sales and comfort in calling on C-Level executives.
• Skilled in managing interpersonal relationships.
• Ideally 1-2 years' experience in sales, account management or relevant internships.
