Who is your future team?
The New Business team is a unique group within Axis. The team is responsible for evaluating and prototyping new business ideas from both a technical and a commercial perspective. The team have both market oriented business development resources as well as product development resources. The team's focus is on ideas outside Axis main business, Network Video.
The role.
Working with Business Development and Project Management within Business Development at the New Business team means that you will work in close contact with dedicated people both internally and externally, exploring and implement new business initiatives by managing and leading new projects. This will include project management with integration of acquired businesses, preparing business plans and implementation of potential new business areas. Also as being a resource for other business development tasks and projects, both small and larger ones.
Another important part of the job will be to act as the bridge between the different stakeholders and workstreams internally as well as with potential external stakeholders depending on the nature of the project. Therefore, good understanding of different business processes and procedures as well as a pragmatic mind set is required. To be efficient in your work you will interact with customers, distributors, system integrators, acquired companies and our sales companies all around the world, often by phone or online meetings from Lund, but also by visiting at their own sites. The position therefore involves approximately 10-20 days travel per year.
Who are you?
We believe you have a university degree within strategy, finance or economics preferably combined with a degree in engineering. You have a vast experience in project management as well as a high knowledge and interest in the business and sales environment.
In order to thrive in the position, we believe that you are a motivated individual who is keen to learn, with strong analytical and numerical skills and that you are proactive and independent in thoughts and actions as well as a very good communicator. You are innovative in idea generation and problem solving, well-structured and able to explain complex matters in an easy way. Excellent in creating power point presentations. Fluency in written and spoken English is required, other languages are additional.
