Head office is located in Hägersten, just south of Stockholm, where most of the product and service development takes place. The Swedish product company, Perten Instruments AB, has around 65 employees and is now looking to recruit a senior and well experienced specialist for its rheology division.

Serve as BDM for Perten Instruments? range of rheological test instruments including Rapid Visco Analysers, doughLAB recording dough mixers, TVT texture analysers as well as instrumentation for sprout damage detection and wheat gluten quality assessment.
Oversee development, implementation and enhancement of practical applications and solutions for grain and food quality testing that are robust, efficient, maintainable and secure.
Assist in the development of new product features in assigned projects. Help to identify and resolve application level issues and defects and attend design sessions with other team members.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or similar is a minimum requirement
Experience
The position requires at least 10 years? professional experience with rheology applications in the food industry, with focus on cereal applications, specialty cereals and non-cereal starches, starch refining and modification.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• In-depth knowledge of rheology standard methods and design of collaborative studies
• Excellent knowledge of design, development processes and project management skills
• Strong communication skills in English are essential as Perten has a global presence
Work Conditions
The function may require weekend and evening hours as well as willingness to travel and work on location.
