hela Sverige Tube Division within Alleima develops and manufactures seamless tubes and other long products in advanced stainless steels and special alloys used primarily in the customer segments Industrial, Chemical and petrochemical, Oil and gas, Mining and construction, Power generation and Transportation. The offering also includes products and solutions for the growing Renewable energy segment.
In this exciting role you will be a part of the management team in the sales organization which means that you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the directions for the organization. Your main focus will be on growing the sales and develop the business.
Your Role
As Business Development Manager you will work on strategic important projects which includes to develop and grow the business in existing and new areas. This is a senior role, and you will have the mandate to act, and you will have a key role in handling big contracts and frame agreements. You will work closely with the Global Product Managers and the Technical Marketing team.
Main areas of responsibility:
• New business opportunities
• Create business on high level in the companies (at the customers)
• Building relations with customers at senior level
Doing business in all corners of the world calls for an open mind and cultural awareness, and you have advanced verbal and written skills in English. Occasional global travelling is a natural part of the role. Location for the position is Sandviken, but it may be flexible.
About You
We see that you have a university degree within relevant field with a proven track record and experience from a similar role within the manufacturing industry, preferably the steel industry. You have good business skills, are result oriented and it comes naturally for you to build long term relations on a senior level.
