Who you are
Alfa Laval Energy Division offer solutions to the energy industries, the process industries and the HVAC and refrigeration industries. We are our customers' long-term partner for sustainability through energy and resource efficiency, waste recovery and emission reduction.
About the jobWe are now strengthening our focus on clean technologies, and we are looking for a person that can lead Alfa Laval 's strategy work in this area. This means creating partnerships with key players, develop new business solutions, and position our company within clean energy, energy savings, energy and resource efficiency. In close collaboration with the Energy Division management team, the Corporate Development team and the Market communication team you will secure our presence at relevant key Energy meetings in the world.
The main responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will be to:
Drive the development of Alfa Laval 's strategy and position on the clean technology market
Take the lead in creating partnerships with key players and together develop business solutions
Secure Alfa Laval 's presence at selected key meetings globally; Energy summits, Clean Energy meetings with the relevant message on our industry value proposition.
The role reports to Energy Divison management team and is based in Lund, Sweden.
You have experience in working with industrial marketing and/or business development. You are passionate about sustainability and knowledgeable in clean technologies, specifically in renewable energies, energy savings, energy and resource efficiency. Your professional background is preferably from these areas paired with a solid business development know-how. With an academic degree in engineering or business you have a commercial and result oriented mindset.You possess project leadership skills and are able to lead virtual teams. You have the ability to build and maintain strong networks and are self-motivated with endurance to get complex tasks done.We offer a both inspiring and challenging position in an open, friendly and truly international environment where we work together to develop and create value for our customers.
