What we offer
Global Customer Service is a unit within Volvo cars, which is responsible for the worldwide aftermarket business, the development and distribution of spare parts, service and repair methods and accessory range. Our ambition is to be the preferred supplier of parts and service to our dealers and customers and thereby actively contribute to creating the best car ownership experience for the customer.
We are looking for a skilled Business Developer to join our Wheels and Tire team. In this role you will develop an optimal business set-up for tires globally, maintain and produce marketing material. information, presenting the offered product range for our customers, workshops and environment.
Your key tasks
As Business Developer Wheels & Tires your main tasks and responsibilities will be to:
• Analyse, drive sales planning and strategies in close co-operation with selected suppliers and defined sales regions, in order to maximize Revenue & Profit.
• Decide and drive development and implementation of new business opportunities.
• Support and plan volume capacities together with global sales regions and suppliers.
• Develop the replacement tire offer.
You and your skills
You have University degree or similar in Business / Economics or related discipline and minimum of 5 years of global commercial experience.
You are fluent in English (verbal and written)
You have change management experience in an international setting.
Experience from tire industry is an advantage.
On a personal level
For this position, you need to have good communication skills, strong sense for details, business acumen and a personal eagerness to investigate, learn and accomplish results.
A sense for good logic and structured way of working will be important in this role, as well as a high ability to work in teams and individually.
You have stakeholder management skills and are proactive and customer focused with the ability to see the holistic view and have a conceptual thinking.
