Predictive Maintenance at Volvo Cars is an aftermarket business capability to support our current and future business models. A data driven approach combining remote vehicle condition monitoring with machine learning and AI technology to optimize cost, uptime and a hassle-free customer experience. This capability will be fundamental for business decisions to optimize operations, meet and exceed customer expectations and be essential for servicing the autonomous car. As a Business Developer, your main responsibility is to secure the commercial aspects of developing a data driven business capability like predictive maintenance. As part of a dedicated cross-functional team you will have close collaboration with both strategy, development and market functions globally across Volvo Cars. Now we are looking for two ambitious colleagues to join our team.

Your key tasks

As Business Developer for Predictive Maintenance, your main task and responsibility will be to drive and develop the business perspective.



You will:
* Lead early stage and full business evaluations
* Lead and support development cases and business projects
* Define requests for new enabling functionality
* Support process development and Predictive Maintenance product portfolio management
* Work cross organisations to clarify and detail business demands to secure a clear and coherent strategic direction

Do you fit the profile?

For this role, we are looking for you that have a University Degree in Industrial Engineering, Computers Science, Business Administration or similar. You should be experienced in driving business transformation in complex business environments and organisations related to connectivity and/or data driven business development. You should also be experienced in:
* Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
* Working in a global cross-functional environment
* The aftermarket from Volvo Cars or elsewhere

On a personal level

To be able to fully enjoy this position you should be ambitious, energetic and a communicative leader with analytical skills and an entrepreneurial and digital mind set. Since the area is in early phase, it's important that you have a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. You see possibilities instead of problems and have the drive to realize together with the team.
