Business Developer Customer Insurance
The position is part of the Business Development Customer Insurance team, and reports to Head of Customer Insurance.
The purpose of the assignment is to support, coordinate and promote the development of Customer Insurance products and services within Financial Services (SFS) and the Scania organization.
Job description
In this role you will be part of a highly successful and professional team. You will have many contacts (including regular travelling) with our local management teams (SFS as well as Commercial Operations), with insurers, claims managers, brokers etc. This position will also give you a unique possibility to discover the business from inside. The key responsibilities in this function are the following:
Be responsible for a group of business units and support them in the development and management of Customer Insurance products and services. You will have full responsibility to support BU from drawing the product and distribution set-up, to negotiating them with local stake-holders (insurer, broker, claims manager etc.) within a set strategic framework. The development work is done through a local Insurance Manager, whom you coach and support, in cooperation with the central Business Development Team within SFS.
Main tasks
• Monitor and support the performance of running insurance programs covering marketing and sales, portfolio management, claims and accident repair processes, reporting etc
• Be Customer Insurance's ambassador in the local market and build strong relationships and trust with the local Business Units management team and all stakeholders involved as Scania Sales & Marketing or Commercial Operations, Scania Assistance, Insurance companies, loss adjustors, partners, Corporate Insurance.
• Develop, safe-guard and ensure application of the Customer Insurance strategy.
• Participate actively in cross-learning within the CI team and the SFS Head office
• In this role you interact with Sales & Marketing and with Commercial Operations to integrate Scania Insurance offers and services in the Solutions Sales offering
Your profile .Project and process development skills
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to structure agreements and negotiate them
• Experience from insurance, either insurance company or broker
• Business driven, high level of independence and delegation
• Fluent in English, other Languages a plus
• Intercultural skills
