This is an opportunity to join the world's leading B2B fashion photography solution provider. We support leading global fashion retailers with an automated and scalable photo production process, thereby reducing time to market and unit photo production costs as well as increasing conversion. Our team comprises passionate fashion and photography enthusiasts, expert, creative software developers, hardware engineers and strategy professionals from more than 15 countries.

We are now looking for an analytical, driven and organized Business developer to help us expand our client base. You will be one of the first contacts for potential clients and will have the dedication to help shape and execute on an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through winning new accounts by forging strong consultative relationships with potential clients and partners.

You will be working directly with the Director Business Development on creating a sales strategy and executing on deal tactics by qualifying leads, mapping deal dynamics, developing pricing options, drafting and submitting proposals as well as assisting along the entire sales process from first contact to closing.

Your days will include:

• Market intelligence: research, analyze and understand market actors, dynamics and trends as well as educate the Looklet organization
• Target identification: compile, structure, analyze and present public and private information on potential target clients
• Lead generation: selective and coordinated approach of targets through various channels
• Lead qualification: analyze and understand leads' specific situations and interests relevant to Looklet's value proposition
• Proposal development: draft and analyze proposal options (incl. pricing models) and pitch decks as basis for deal negotiation
• Negotiation support: monitor negotiation status and progress, continuously validating for potentially emerging new options in close alignment with the deal lead (Director Business Development or CEO) and assist in and out of meetings by understanding and analyzing the commercial implications of terms and conditions

How to be successful in the role:

• Analytical: you are a professional in working with numbers (MS Excel), and can drive quantitative and qualitative analyses to develop insights, options and recommendations
• Autonomous: although in regular alignment with you superiors, you will consistently be expected to work reliably and effectively on your aown
• Commercially responsible: while you have a value-maximizing approach as to how to grow the business, you keep in mind second- and third-order effects of options or actions
• Communicative: you demonstrate empathy towards potential clients by being first and foremost a strong listener, and secondly by creating comfort and confidence by how you express yourself in meetings, in writing, and especially through slide writing (MS Powerpoint).
• Conceptual: you are at ease developing ideas, bringing them to paper and synthesizing complex and abstract information into simple words and graphics
• Organized: you have an organized approach to planning and executing your work as well as to how you present and deliver output
• Value-oriented: you are always on the lookout for how deal options may benefit the Looklet bottom line
• Driven/hungry, yet humble and eager to learn
• 2+ years startup, technology, eCommerce or fashion retail operations experience is a plus
