About the job
Our activities in the cybersecurity test and demonstration facility, called RISE Cyber Range, are growing widely across Sweden, from cybersecurity training and exercise to pen testing and cyber certification.
This, combined with our cutting-edge research at the Cybersecurity Unit at RISE, offer best opportunity to work on cyber issues in Sweden. That is why we are looking for you that are ready to be our new business developer for the RISE Cyber Range.
About the role
You will plan, develop, support and coordinate the business operations in Cyber Range within the Cybersecurity Unit and across RISE in accordance with RISE strategies. RISE Cyber Range offers cybersecurity training and exercise, pen testing, and cybersecurity certification. It is also used to conduct cybersecurity research within a number of fields and offers value-creating solutions -for sustainable growth, renewal and transformation of industry and society. One focus of RISE is the applied digitalization of industry and society to drive and show the opportunities that the technological development provides, for example through innovation management.
The weighting of the role in terms of commercial assignments may vary, depending on the needs in companies, public sector and defense. There is a huge potential to develop the business with the goal to directly impact Swedish societal competitiveness in cybersecurity. You will create/initiate external projects and assignments in conjunction with the cybersecurity unit the Department of Computer Science at RISE. You will play an important role in the relations to external parties, in accordance with the purpose and set goals - both nationally and internationally. It is important that there is a big emphasis on collaboration with industry and public sector across Sweden.
By leading activities, developing business relationships and participating in developing solutions and strategies for the RISE Cyber Range, you contribute to the development of Swedish industry so that it is at the forefront internationally and can meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders.
Furthermore you will get the opportunity to:
- Support the work on research acquisition and/or sales work within the department, including planning, follow-up and implementation, in accordance with requirements.
- Sell and develop offers in the RISE Cyber Range.
- Establish and develop contacts with customers, stakeholders and partners and will foster commercial business and partnerships.
- Develop new business models exploiting the Cyber Range.
The location for this position is Stockholm.
Who are you?
We are seeking someone who is passionately interested in technology and business development. You are a self-starter and an energetic person who isn't afraid of discussions and meetings with customers and colleagues. You are quick at getting into new areas of technology and research and you understand how they can interact with business operations to create even greater customer benefit. You are knowledgeable about the market needs and trends. We would like to see that you hold an MSc or PhD in a relevant scientific field or equivalent advanced work experience in B2B sales and business development within cybersecurity or related areas. We would like you to be fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
