We are building a full stack Insight department. The Business and Customer Insights department is a world class team of market researchers, service designers, data scientists and business data analysts, trying to answer why-, because of-, how much-, and what if- questions for Telia Sweden. We all have experience in different industries and sectors and our belief is that by mixing different backgrounds we will increase the quality of insights. And it will also be more fun!
Right now, we are looking for a Business Data Analyst/Product owner for our B2C-team in Sweden. In the B2C-team we work with data and business insights for mobile, broadband and TV for all Telia brands. Our purpose at Telia is to reinvent better connected living and you will play an important part in moving the consumer business towards that direction.

As a Business Data Analyst/Product Owner you will work closely with our stakeholders. In the Business Data Analyst role, you deliver value and insights by drawing conclusions from data and use those to make recommendations. You work with the whole array of explorative, descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analysis techniques. As Product Owner you understand what your stakeholders need, and translates that into business demands and requirements, acting as a bridge towards our Data Availability and BI-team. This means you will work and collaborate with different competencies such as data engineers, data scientists, BI developers, business managers, market researchers, technical product specialists and business controllers - and it will require good people management and communication skills. Combining the two roles means you get to work hands-on with analysis while at the same time developing your project management skills, and leverage the insights gained in your analyses to create better analytical products.
You will report to the B2C-team lead, but every individual in the team contributes and decide together on how to best address the challenges the team is facing. Team composition may change over time as we grow our competencies and adapt to new circumstances. You can call it agile but we think of it as fun, people-positive and complexity-conscious way of working. Your self-leadership skills:
Love to deliver value by finding new ways to employ data & analytics
Strong in building relationships
You consider yourself a doer with strong focus on problem solving
Ability to keep the helicopter view while digging into the details, and vice versa.
Your Experience:
At least 3 years' experience of working within roles as Business Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Product owner or similar
Academic degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or equivalent
Strong analytical skills and the ability to comprehend, analyze and put numbers into insights
Strong communication skills with ability to customize messages to reach different competences, in both Swedish and English
Ability to work with large amounts of complex data
High competence in SQL and SAS
Skilled user of at least one visualization and self-service BI-Tool (e.g. Qlik Sense)
Proven ability to successfully drive analysis or other projects from planning to execution and delivery
Skills in Python and/or R is a plus
Background in telecom and mobile services is a plus.
