hela Sverige Business Region International covers 3 clusters: APAC, MEAC and India. With yearly sales of aprox. 3000 buses and chassis BRI offers possibility to work with variety of markets and cultures in diverse and dynamic team.
Business Controller within Region International Buses will work with the VP Business Control BRI, as well as Cluster Controllers, to develop and coordinate the forecasting and planning process for the region. Controller will also have responsibility for collecting, analyzing and delivering consolidated financial information to help guide and support the Regional Management team and other stakeholders in decision making.
Main Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for consolidation and validation of forecast and monthly financial reporting of VBC Business Region International
• Plan, communicate and follow up with Cluster controllers on the closing and forecasting process
• Analyze the financial and operational data of BRI, including accurate and meaningful comments and forecasts that call attention to important trends and potential problems/risks and opportunities
• Create financial reports upon the management requirement
• Be capable of communicating and recommending actions regarding the "state of the business" to the management team
• Support business decisions by preparing profitability analysis
• Provide advice to clusters when it comes to product cost calculation and transfer prices. Secure communication and follow up on implementation of reporting and forecasting principles changes
• Participate and drive networks within business control. Drive development and change initiatives within the controlling area and initiate and follow up improvement actions

Key Capabilities Required:
• Master of Business Administration or similar education
• Senior experience from qualified business control matters
• Qualified experience of Volvo business and organization, preferably in Volvo Buses
• Experience in industrial environment controlling
• Good analytical and communication skills, integrity, creative personality and comfort in independency
• Ability to work independently in a flexible and multi-cultural environment
• Knowledge of the system tools used at Volvo like SAP/R3 and BCS, QV
• Good knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel & PPT
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong logic and analytical skills
