Our client are now looking for a new colleague ready to take on the challenge of working as a Business Controller within the IT Department. They are now looking for a new Business Controllers to join the controller team. You will join and be part of an experienced controller team reporting to the Division Business Controller.
As a Business Controller, you will work with financial management and follow-up in the Division and you will have responsibility for a specific area. You will work closely together with the Division Controller, Section Managers, Operation Area Responsibles, Staff and Sourcing Responsibles, Contract Managers, Project Managers and System Responsibles. You will analyze and review IT business cases and participate in IT projects.
You will have contact with many different people and roles within the organization, which requires that you lead by example and in accordance with our company values. With a focus on cost consciousness, you contribute to the division's ability to function as efficiently as possible
The assignment is fulltime and will start 4/3 and continue until the 30/9.
Responsibilities
• As a business controller you are responsible for analyzing and explaining financial differences and their impact on the business.
• Active leadership with overall responsibility for controlling your area.
• Work with financial planning, follow-up and budgeting of IT costs and resources, together with Division Business Controller, Section Manager, Staff Responibles, Sourcing Responsible, Project Managers and System Responsibles.
• Provide training within financial management and financial responsibility for leaders and budget responsibles.
• Control of routines, for example those relating to invoice handling and travel.
• Undertake proactive analysis and investigations which contribute to our efficiency and cost consciousness.
• Participate in the development of the processes and routines for the controlling function within IT.
• Contribute to the development and acceptance testing of the tools and system used by the IT Department for financial planning, budget and follow-up.
Qualifications
• At least two years experience from working as a controller and a relevant academic degree.
• Experience from working with IT and a genuine interest in learning more about IT business.
• Experience from working with portfolio management is desirable
• Experience of using tools for financial budgeting and follow-up (incl. MS Excel, pivot tables).
• Experienced in using tools for financial budgeting and follow-up.
• Strong communication- and relationship building skills (English and Swedish)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to have a helicopter view as well as understand the details when needed
• You like working in a changing environment
• You are curious and pro-active and have a drive to constantly improve
• You take responsibility
• You are a team player
