hela Sverige Business Region International is looking for a skilled individual to take up a role of Business Controller ? member of Regional Controlling team. This is to substitute for a colleague on maternity leave in 1 year period starting May 2016.
Main Responsibilities:
• Secure that the Volvo FPP (financial policy and procedures) are followed
• Be responsible for Planning-, Forecast- and Financial reporting of VBC BRI
• Communicate and follow up with cluster controllers on the closing and forecasting process
• Analyzing the financial and operational data, including accurate and meaningful comments and forecasts that call attention to important trends and potential problems/risks and opportunities
• Create financial reports upon the management requirement
• Ad hoc assignments
• Being capable of communicating and recommending actions regarding the "state of the business" to the management team and the company?s board of directors, both orally and in written reports
• Support business decisions by preparing profitability analysis
• Provide advice to clusters when it comes to product cost calculation and transfer prices. Secure communication and follow up on implementation of reporting and forecasting principles changes.
• Drive improvement in forecasting and reporting process
• Be active part of VBC controllers community
Key Capabilities Required:
• Master of Business Administration or similar education
• Senior experience from qualified business control matters on local and central level
• Qualified experience of Volvo business and organization, preferably in Volvo Buses
• Experience in industrial environment controlling
• Good analytical and communication skills, integrity, creative personality and comfort in independency
• Ability to work independently in a flexible and multi-cultural environment
• Knowledge of the system tools used at Volvo like SAP/R3 and BCS, QV
• Good knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel & PPT
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong logic and analytical skills
