Key responsibilities
As a business controller at Volvo Group Connected Solutions you:
Work in a broad role as a finance business partner to the rest of the organization
Share the responsibility with rest of the finance team for budgeting, forecasting and reporting - we back-up each other and switch tasks to get broad experience
Lead system related tasks in monthly closing process
Are responsible for pricing and billing
Run master data in close collaboration with IT organization
The position is based at Lindholmen, Gothenburg and reports to Vice President Finance.

Who you are
You are an all-round and fast-learning business controller interested in working within the field of disruptive technologies and we can't wait to get to know you!
You enjoy having part of your work on a routine basis and part open to identify and support in a wide range of finance matters as member of an agile finance team working close to business. You feel comfortable taking on accounting, commercial and system aspects combined. You look forward to develop your knowledge in our financial system set-up to support financial follow-up and commercial decisions as well as take on responsibility for system tasks in the closing process. Creative thinking in how to extract information, build reports etc. is a big plus. Your network within Connected Solutions and in the Volvo Group will be big as we work with almost all brands and regions, why you should appreciate a high level of interaction and cross-functional work.
Competence profile
To qualify for this role, you should:
Have the ability to think new and be creative
Be successful in building excellent working relationships
Possess entrepreneurial drive and interest in new business opportunities. Experience from working on business cases for new business opportunities is a plus, although not required.
More than 3 years of work experience in a controlling/accounting position
Experience with SAP R/3 (experience with VIT-BS is a plus although not required)
Complete proficiency in English
University degree (finance/accounting)
Humor; because, in the end, working here should be fun
