hela Sverige In the role as a Business Controller, you will:
• Be part of - and over time a key contributor to - the key areas of responsibilities of GFM performance follow-up. This includes for example the monthly Group Results Analysis, the quarterly peer group analysis and other financial reviews of the group's businesses.
• Achieve insight to and understanding of Nordea's performance over time as well as in comparison to peers and competitors.
• Be responsible for gathering input to support value adding analyses which give understanding of key business drivers.
• Work on value adding result analysis which give an understanding of key business drivers and support the strategic decision-making process of the Group.
• Gather input for cost, productivity and profitability analyses (both in absolute and relative to peers) to support decision making.
• Gather input to support scenario analyses/forecasting on risk, balance sheet and P&L.

Following qualifications are required:

• High-level academic results and a related degree in Finance/Commerce/Economics.
• Analytical capability with an eye for details, as the position requires the ability to understand complex structures.
• A mindset of critical thinking and ability to challenge conventional truths.
• A flair for analytical tools.
• Excellent English language skills.
Group Financial Management (GFM), within Group Finance & Business Control, drives and supports the strategic and financial planning for the Nordea Group, providing Group Executive Management - especially the CEO, COO and CFO - and the Board of Directors with financial analysis, performance reviews, as well as forecasts and scenarios to facilitate and drive performance discussions.
We have a broad perspective on performance management and evaluate the Group's running operational performance and strategic initiatives. We drive and coordinate the long-term target setting and forecasting of the bank. Also, we take responsibility for the management reporting principles of Nordea.
GFM is currently a unit of 11 top-performing and dedicated employees. We strive to provide a fact-based, value-adding analysis in a proactive manner, and thereby acting as a catalyst for action and change.
