ABB?s business for crane systems helps ports, shipping companies, power plants and the steel mills to transfer containers, bulk materials and steel products in a reliable, quick and cost efficient way. Cranes is specialized in advanced automation and information systems for motion control of container cranes, bulk cranes and steel mill cranes. We are the leading supplier of crane systems worldwide. Port Cranes, which are heavy robots weighting hundreds of tons, move and stack containers automatically and with high precision. They also load and unload vessels and vehicles. In large container terminals, the operation of the total fleet of cranes is coordinated in order to obtain optimum productivity.
Challenge: Crane Systems is a highly international business and close to 100 percent of our systems are exported. In this position, you will be responsible for all financial reporting in line with Group Accounting and Reporting Guidelines, US GAAP and other legal and local rules. Within the local product group, you will manage the financial planning, including budgets and forecasts, and take necessary actions to secure future growth and profits. In close collaboration with the sales and project teams, you will also manage the financial risks in bids and projects as well as lead and develop controlling resources in adherence with corporate governance, compliance, assurance and internal control. As LBU Controller you will provide financial and controlling expertise to the Local Business Unit Manager and be part of the management team for Crane Systems in Sweden.
Requirements: You have a university degree in Economics and several years? experience of multinational business models, accounting and business control functions. The position also requires solid skills in risk and change management. Leadership experience and knowledge in SAP and US GAAP regulations are strongly qualifying. In addition, you have excellent communication skills and are proficient in English. Knowledge of Swedish is not mandatory but preferable. You are a strategic person with high social and networking skills. As our expert in all controller-related issues, you must also have the ability to lead activities and implement changes in the business.
