As a Business Controller at Surface Radar Solutions, you will play an important role and work with our programs and the operation as a whole. Your overall goal will be to generate a positive business impact, provide early indicators to management and secure that Saabs accounting rules are followed. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Business Control Surface Radar, you will also be a key member of the Finance Team and work closely together with the program managers.

Your responsibilities are:

Be a co-pilot to the program managers in financial matters
*
Monitor and control financial aspects of programs and projects such as follow-up and analyze, prepare budgets and forecasts

Be active and highlight issues and propose actions
*
Analyze actuals and forecasts and initiate actions to improve financial performance
*
Work in close corporation with other controllers in the Finance function and actively participate and contribute to improvements and progress in processes, systems and control within the finance area
Your profile
You possess a strong business acumen together with strategic awareness. You have extensive experience from financial planning, analysis, budget and reporting. However, your most important skill is your proactive and positive attitude.
Required background and experience:

Fluent in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing

Relevant academic degree

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions, requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
The location of the position is in Gothenburg.

The task for Product unit Surface Radar Solutions is to ensure development, production, testing, delivery and operation of the surface radar portfolio. This includes both systems sales and services business within the Land and Naval domain. Operations are conducted in Sweden, the United States, the UK, Australia, Germany, the United Arab Emirates and Finland.
Surface Radar Solutions is in a growth phase and we are now expanding the finance team of four with a new member!
