We are looking for a Business Controller / Supply Business Partner. The initial focus will be supporting the transition to third party provider of transactions and month- end , and rebuild the controls and processes in Supply control and accounting. This responsibility is time limited and will be handed over to our partners who in the future will manage these tasks. This role will therefore change focus from Business Control to Supply Business Partner.
As a Supply Business Partner you will contribute to execution of sales -, expense - and profitability targets. You will translate production processes into finance numbers and present to the Supply organization to understand the financial impact of the processes. Control financial aspects of the business operations and proactively monitor ways to use resources/material and communicate findings of more efficient ways to work. Pinpoint areas of risks/improvements. You will support the Supply organization and Finance Department in preparations, analysis, reporting and consultation of finance information, accounting issues and audit requests.
Responsibilities
• Maintain the operational forecasting and budgeting processes within the site.
• Implement the necessary financial tools, procedures and infrastructure supporting the execution of the financial objectives of the site.
• Implement the management control system for measurement of the KPIs of the site.
• Control all the financials associated with the site and recommends corrective management measures targeted at securing the overall performance of the site.
• Analysis and presentation of the results of the Supply organization to Site Management and pinpoint variances in relation to previous year, budget and latest view.
• Explain financial data to the internal/external auditors visiting the site.
• Be familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct and HSE standards and acting in compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Analysis, specifications and reporting of result to Management
• Coordinate investments for the site with calculations and analysis
• Involvement in Business Improvement work within the Supply organization and Finance Department
Job Requirements
• Degree in Economics or similar; Experience with IFRS & SAP or equivalent ERP system.
• Good knowledge in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs;
• English (fluent)
• Experience, have worked at least 3 years within Finance functions.
