The Industrial Business Unit are responsible for drive and develop specialized solutions for our industrial customers
The Industrial Business Unit was established in 2021 to drive and develop specialized solutions for our industrial customers. We are a customer focused organization with local market presence, operating with full end-to-end responsibility covering the product and services planning, marketing, sales and services for Industrial Power Systems. We operate in more than 130 countries with a turnover above 9 billion SEK with ambition to grow and create success for our customers.
As a Business Controller Service Market, your main responsibility is controlling & supporting Service Market Business to drive our performance follow-up as well as supporting the growth and development of the service business. You will drive and participate in the monthly closing and quarterly estimate processes as well as contribute to the business analysis and management reporting. You are part of a team of six people, where you are one of three business controllers. The Finance and Business Support Department is also responsible for Credit & Risk Management as well as Demand, Order and Inventory Management
You will report to The Vice President for Finance & Business Support, but also work closely with Industrial Service Market as well as the Central Finance and Marine Business Control Teams. The dialogue with our 15 market units within Volvo Penta Globally is essential in this role.

Required Qualifications
A university degree in either Finance or Business Administration
Minimum 5 years of experience from Business Control primarily in a commercial environment
Interest and knowhow from development of new business model and subscription based revenues
Knowledge from understanding of service contract follow-up is highly valued
Skills in developing and managing large data when generating management reports is an asset
Experience in dealing with different cultures in multi-national organizations
Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI, SAP, JDE are tools frequently used of which high knowledge is needed
Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage
