Job Title:
MSN Business Controller, Nordics and CEMEA
Background;
Microsoft's MSN Division for Nordics and CEMEA is responsible for the company's portal, search and subscription and transaction businesses. Turnover is around 150M USD growing 50% Yr over Yr.
Job's Purpose:
This position is responsible for delivering pro-active business control as well as managing the MSN's (OSG's) OPEX. There will be a strong focus on marketing spend, CP ( content and programming) and personnel costs. You will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on the financial performance, ranging from understanding of market drivers, ROI analysis to review various types of resource investments. Monthly control and analysis is normal at Microsoft, and you will be an integral part of the month-end close cycle. Furthermore you will drive the planning and forecast processes. You will be the business partners key financial support helping them. Presentation of results and analysis as well as training employees in our financial tools will be part of your responsibilities. You will cooperate with the other controllers in the region's F&A teams as well.
Core Job Responsibilities:
• Drive Finance part of key business processes like Budget, MYR and ROB reviews and support Business lead in planning, analysis and deployment of resources to ensure efficient operations.
• Represent Finance organization inside Microsoft at LT meetings and reviews.
• OPEX and headcount forecast coordination and accuracy - support marketing managers, EP's and HR and drive for forecast accuracy in region.
• Controller's report - monthly reporting and analysis to LT to review performance and flag issues. This role is responsible for the overall P&L management .
• Ensure efficient and compliant financial processes inside the MSN business.
• Scorecard owner - process, input and tools.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelors' degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in financial and accounting position.
• Understanding of marketing and CP (content and programming).
• Demonstrated experience in the design, implementation and monitoring of internal controls and compliance.
• Experience with business processes and systems should include closing, planning, forecasting, procurement.
• Experience in working in multiple organizations with emphasis on communicating and decision making with demonstrated ability to work under pressure. Must be motivated by interdependency.
• Demonstrated ability to drive effective implementation of procedures and policies to support operational business requirements across regional and organizational boundaries.
• A frank and driving attitude together with good humor
• Team player - must have ability to manage cross group and cross country boundaries.
• Highly developed analytical and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of Excel

Fluent in English and Swedish
