Our current Controller moves on to a new assignment as division Acquisition Intergration Controller, Parts & Services division. Therefore, we are now looking for an experienced and business-oriented
Business Controller to join us in the Underground division.
The Underground division develops, manufactures, and markets a wide range of tunneling and mining equipment, including face drilling rigs, loaders, mine trucks, and ventilation systems, for underground operations worldwide. It focuses on innovative product design and aftermarket support solutions in order to deliver increased customer value. The division has manufacturing facilities in Sweden, India, and China.
The division also offers a large portion of its product portfolio in battery-powered electric versions, improving the working environment in underground mines, boosting customer productivity, and reducing their total operating costs.
Your mission
As Business Controller, you will manage the Plan to Perform process within Finance and provide pro-active business support towards the organization within Financial Control. As an active member of the Management team and co-pilot to the General Manager you will have the opportunity to put your own stamp on the role and contribute with your creativity. You will ensure standardization and change management within Finance Area and maintain the true picture in line with audit requirements, the Epiroc Way and internal process. In this role you will also provide financial training and understanding to the organization along with communication with the Managers about the financial performance and promote accountability and use of self-service BI- reports for financial follow-up.
Furthermore you remain neutral in political discussions but encourage discussions with Epiroc functions and develop cross- functional cooperation. You will be responsible for the audit process in the local site through close cooperation with the Center of Excellence. You will also monitor and verify the financial performance of the entity and towards CoE be the speaking partner and the owner of Balance sheet, Income statement and relevant KPI:s. To have a Cost and Inventory analysis focus, take pro-active actions and communicate with stakeholders will also be part of the work.

You have a university degree in business administration or equivalent experience and +5 years of experience from a similar position with proven management skills. You have knowledge about rules and regulations linked to trading companies and a good understanding of Swedish regulations. Previous managerial position is a plus.
